Instructions for your first steps at the MAIDS-GRID Program

Please find useful information for your preparations for your study below:


Your Visa

For all international students, you will have to apply for a student visa to study at MAIDS-GRID.

Your Scholarships

Your scholarship results will be announced soon:

  • ASEAN/Non-ASEAN Scholarship

    Upon your arrival to Thailand, you are required to submit the Arrival Report Form, the Flight Ticket Claim Form and other Documents for Arrival Report to the program coordinator. Please make sure to submit them as early as possible to start receiving monthly stipend on time.

  • HBS Scholarship

    Call for interview by e-mail in early July.

  • MGAP Scholarship

    Result announces in mid July.


Your Bank Account & Payments

  • Open Your Bank account at KBank (Kasikornthai Bank)

    - If you have not got a KBank account, contact the programme for your student status letter, then contact KBank, Chamchuri Square Branch (See map) to open your account

  • Your Chula’s student ID Card is also a KBank Debit Card.

Enrolment & Registration

Your English Test Result

You are required to submit a valid English test result if:

  • you have not submitted a valid English test result to us

  • you have never graduated from any international programme (using English language)

  • your English test result does not meet the programme’s minimum requirement

  • your English test result expired before the end of June, 2026.

The minimum test result that we accept:

  • IELTS 6.0

  • TOEFL 78

  • CU-TEP 75

Failing to submit the test result before the deadline will make you automatically lost your student status, which means you are not allowed to continue studying at MAIDS-GRID.

Alternatively, you can choose to register for an English course to compensate the test result.
