PARTIAL Scholarship

This scholarship pays for:

• Tuition Fee THB 24,500 /trimester

• Monthly stipend

  • MA student: THB 7,000 /month

  • PhD student: THB 9,000 /month

Recipients has to pay for the following by themselves:

• International Student Fee THB 60,700 /trimester

• Program Fee THB 65,000 /trimester

Duration: Up to 2 years for MA recipients

72nd Anniversary Scholarship

Eligible for all applicants in MAIDS & GRID Program

Number of scholarship offered in this academic year: unspecified

Application date: Same as the application for the Program

Grantor: Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University

Summary:
This scholarship covers Tuition Fee at the rate of Thai student (regardless of recipient’s nationality). It also offers monthly stipend of THB 6,000 for some recipients.*

Duration: Up to 2 years for MA recipients

Successful applicants will be interviewed and selected by the Graduate School after they are admitted by the programme.

PARTIAL Scholarship

This scholarship pays for:

• Tuition Fee THB 24,500 /trimester

• Monthly stipend THB 16,000 /month

• (as of 2022) An economy class, round trip ticket, as actually paid. It should also be noted that

  a) For students from ASEAN, the airfare of each leg of the trip must not exceed 8,500 Baht;

  b) For students from Asian countries, the airfare of each leg of the trip must not exceed

  12,000 Baht;

  c) For students from Europe, Australia and New Zealand as well as Africa, the airfare

  of each leg must not exceed 20,000 Baht;

  d) For students from North and South America, the airfare of each leg must not exceed

  30,000 Baht.

Recipients have to pay for the following by themselves:

• International Student Fee THB 60,700 /trimester

• Program Fee THB 65,000 /trimester

ASEAN & NON–ASEAN Scholarship

Eligible for all Non-Thai MAIDS-GRID applicants (qualifications applied)

Number of scholarship offered in this academic year: multiple

Application date: Same as the application for the Programme

Grantor: Division of Academic Grants, Office of Academic Affairs, Chulalongkorn University

Summary:
This scholarship covers Tuition Fee at the rate of Thai student (regardless of recipient’s nationality). The scholarship also offer to any nationalities - no matter you’re from an ASEAN countries. It also offers monthly stipend of THB 16,000

Duration: Up to 2 years for MA recipients and 3 years for Ph.D. recipients.

For Scholarship recipient:

Upon your arrival to Thailand, you are required to submit the Arrival Report Form, the Flight Ticket Claim Form and other Documents for Arrival Report to the programme coordinator. Please make sure to submit them as early as possible to start receiving monthly stipend on time.

This scholarship will be awarded to the top ranked students in each academic year.

No application is needed for this scholarship.

FULL Scholarship

This scholarship pays for:

• Tuition Fee THB 24,500 /trimester

• International Student Fee THB 60,700 /trimester

• Program Fee THB 65,000 /trimester

• Monthly stipend

• Research and conference costs

MGAP Scholarship

Eligible for recipients of either the 72nd Anniversary, or ASEAN/NON-ASEAN Scholarship.

Number of scholarship offered in this academic year: 2 MA & 1 PhD

Recipients of related scholarship will be automatically nominated for consideration.

Grantor: Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University

Summary:
This scholarship covers the registration fee, 1 year for MA recipients, and 3 years for Ph.D. recipients.

How to Apply: No application required for this scholarship. The programme will nominate top 3 recipients of either the 72nd Birthday Anniversary Scholarship and ASEAN/NON–ASEAN Scholarship to be the recipients of this scholarship.

The result will be individually confirmed by e-mail by July.
