On 30 September 2025, the MAIDS-GRID International Development Studies program at Chulalongkorn University celebrated the graduation of its 2025 master’s and Ph.D. students.
The ceremony brought together graduates, faculty, family, and friends to celebrate their achievements and years of hard work. It was also a special moment to recognize the diverse journeys of students from across Asia and beyond. The graduates were warmly welcomed by the Dean, Prakorn Siriprakob; Program Director, Associate Professor Carl Middleton; Deputy Director, Dr. Sorasich Swangsilp, and Dr. Khathaleeya Liamdee, faculty members and thesis advisors, including Dr. Chulanee Thianthai, Dr. Jakkrit Sangkhamanee, and Dr. Pimsiri Aroonsri.
For many graduates, the MAIDS-GRID program was more than an academic journey. It was also a community where they built lasting friendships, shared experiences across cultures, and developed a strong spirit of collaboration. As the MAIDS-GRID Class of 2025 begins their next chapter in academia, international organizations, NGOs, or policymaking, they take with them the values of critical thinking, inclusivity, and social responsibility.
Congratulations to all master's and Ph.D. graduates of 2025! We wish you all the best in your future journeys and hope you continue to make a positive difference in your communities and beyond.
