Qualifications and Required Documents

Application submission period: June-July annually
Number of expected students: 10-15

Qualification for MAIDS ∞ GRID

  1. Applicants must:

    - hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, or

    - currently studying in a Bachelor’s degree, or

    - have at least 5 years working experience in international development profession.

  2. Have proof of the English language proficiency

  3. Other particular qualifications as announced by the MAIDS Programme Comittee.

Required documents
Applicant must save the completed application form in pdf format, and submit the following documents to nondegree.maids@gmail.com, with an email titled “Application Non-Degree – Your Lastname

  1. Completed application from
    (Save in pdf format, name the file “ApplicationForm-YourLastname”)

  2. A copy of valid passport with your signature
    (Save in pdf format, name the file “Passport-YourLastname”)

  3. Academic documents: A copy of your degree, transcript, and English test report (if applicable.)
    (Sort to order, combined together in a single file. Save in pdf format, name the file “AcademicDocuments-YourLastname”)

  4. Passport photo
    (Save in .jpg or pdf format, name the file “Photo-YourLastname”)

This course runs on a 3 modules basis. Available courses are as follows:


Module 1 (Aug-Dec)

- 2440616 Critical Issues in Development Studies

Module 2 (Jan-Apr)

- 2440617 Innovation for Inclusive Development in Southeast Asia
- 2440625 Digital Technology and Development
- 2440626 Writing for Development Practicum

Module 3 (May-Jul)

- 2440615 Development Practicum

Fee Structure

Tuition Fee:

  • Thai students: THB 12,250 per trimester

  • International students: THB 42,610 per trimester

Field Trip: THB 10,000*
