Internal Scholarships

MAIDS Program encourage their students to receive funding for their study at Chulalongkorn University. However, a number of scholarships are limited, and not able to cover all expenses for applicants. Below is the list of scholarships both provided by the MAIDS-GRID Program and Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University; and our partners for 2018/19 Year Intake. If you are interested in applying to the scholarships, please indicate your intention in the application form.

Internal Scholarships

1.      The MAIDS-GRID Program annually offers applicants from 10 ASEAN Member Countries to pursue the scholarship, POLSCI-ASEAN-MAIDS Scholarship, which covers program fees for potential applicants. This scholarship is offered for 1 Thai student and 1 non-Thai student.

External Scholarships

2.      For prospective students from Myanmar, please see the “HEINRICH BOELL SCHOLARSHIPS”. There are two full scholarships provided from the foundation. Please see www.mm-boell.org for more information about the funds.

3.      The Scholarship from the Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University to commemorate The Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 5th Cycle ( 60th) Birthday. This scholarship is offered to the new students who would like to receive a partial support including tuition fees and living stipends. Potential applicants must apply through the Graduate School only at www.grad-chula.ac.th/scholarship. For this scholarship, the application can be made only after receiving an acceptance letter from the MAIDS program.

4. The Scholarship from the Office of Academic Affairs, Chulalongkorn University offers to ASEAN national applicants. This scholarship covers air fares, tuition and program fee, and living stipends. *This scholarship is limited and competitive across other faculties in Chulalongkorn University. Potential applicants must attach the scholarship application along with other required documents to MAIDS Program.
